Green Technologies on Display at AHR Expo
Green technologies were all the buzz at last week’s AHR Expo held at McCormick Place in Chicago. An estimated 50,000 plumbers, HVAC technicians and business owners were in attendance to see the latest products available in the air conditioning, heating and refigeration industry, which has seen a continued trend towards more environmentally friendly solutions.
Some of the most notable new products on display included a hybrid air conditioner, and a thermostat that resembles an iPod, with an LCD screen and WiFi connectivity so that it can be activated from your laptop. Click here to read more.
Echelon Design at AHR Expo
I flew into Chicago last week to be with one of Echelon’s newest clients, Isval S.p.A., which is a leading manufacturer of forged brass and aluminum products. Headquartered in Italy, Isval’s engineers and produces custom pumps and valves for HVAC, refigeration, and beverage dispensing systems.
Our challenge was to cost effectively design a custom rental program around the following objectives:
- Reinforce Isval’s position as an industry leader in delivering high quality products and unmatched service through the use of contemporary lines and clean architecture.
- Design and produce a few key graphic intensive elements to compliment the product on display.
- Provide secure product display so that it could be staged once, and then left safely in place over night.
You can see the results in the pictures below. The inline booth also featured a small private conference room with seating for four people, and a secure storage space for excess product, literature, etc. See more photos.
Until the next time…
