Exhibitor 2010 Series: Part 5 – The Twittermediary Trade Show Success Strategies Part 3 ~ The Follow-up
Echelon Design at NAB Show 2010
This week I’m back at full speed after having spent the past few days with my toes in the sand, staring out at the Gulf of Mexico. The much needed break came on the heels of another successful NAB Show for Echelon. You can a few pictures of our project below. My takeaways from the show this year:
- 3D technology still seems to be a hot trend in broadcasting;
- Over the top (OTT) content seems to be gaining more traction;
- Attendance was more than 88,000, up from 83,000 in 2009;
Our project was focused on 40′x40′ island space utilizing the custom rental components that we built for our client last year. It’s always interesting to see how you can take modular components and re-configure them to work in a new space (last year we were in 2500 sqf space). And is it me, or does it seem like there is ALWAYS a column to contend with in the south hall of the LVCC???
